Rug check a new Solana token

Paste the token's address. In a few seconds you see what the chain says about it right now, its creator's record, and how the launches we recorded with the same flags ended.

What we check

  • Mint authority. Still on means whoever holds it can mint more of the token at any time. A red flag.
  • Freeze authority. Still on means whoever holds it can freeze any wallet's tokens, so they can't be sold. A red flag.
  • Token-2022 rules. A permanent delegate (one wallet can move or burn anyone's tokens), a transfer hook (a program that runs on every transfer and can block it), a transfer tax (a cut of every transfer, or one its owner can raise) or a pause switch. Each one is a red flag.
  • The creator. The wallet that paid for the token's first transaction, and its record in our data. A red flag when it has 2 or more launches on record and half or more of them were dead within 24 hours.
  • Our record of the launch. If our collector recorded it from birth: how it is doing, and its first hour (bundled buys, buys in one block, fresh wallets, unique buyers), each beside how launches like it ended. Shown, not counted as flags.

How launches with these flags ended

  • Of 34 launches we recorded with the mint authority still on, 12% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 2,980 launches we recorded with the mint authority revoked, 88% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 39 launches we recorded with the freeze authority still on, 18% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 2,975 launches we recorded with the freeze authority revoked, 88% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 299 launches we recorded with 60% or more of first-hour volume bundled, 85% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 93 launches we recorded whose busiest block carried 9 or more buys, 80% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 19 launches we recorded with 40% or more of first-hour buyers in fresh wallets, 32% were ruined within 24 hours, against 75% of all launches that lived past their first hour.
  • Of 869 launches we recorded with 5 or fewer unique buyers in the first hour, 77% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.
  • Of 1,234 launches we recorded with over 40 unique buyers in the first hour, 94% were ruined within 24 hours, against 87% of all launches.

Where the numbers come from

  • Every rate is from the Solana launches our collector recorded from birth: 3,146 launches between Sep 28, 2026 and Oct 11, 2026, rebuilt every night.
  • Ruined means dead (under $1,000 of liquidity left, or the pool gone) or down 80% or more from its first price, a day after launch. 87% of the 3,019 launches old enough to judge were ruined within 24 hours.
  • Fresh-wallet buyers are read only for launches that lived past their first hour, so that rate is set against the launches that did, not against all of them.
  • On the chain, everything is read the moment you press Check, straight from the Solana network. A line it didn't answer says so and isn't counted: nothing is guessed.

Honest limits

  • A check, not a guarantee. A token with no red flags can still go to zero, and one with red flags can still run.
  • We don't read whether the pool's liquidity is locked, the token's socials or its price.
  • The creator is the wallet that paid for the first transaction: a launchpad that pays for its users' launches shows up as the creator. For a token with a long history we stop looking after a few thousand transactions, and say so.
  • Not financial advice.
