In 7 days: higher or lower?

How it works

  • Every day at the night's build a new set of 5 charts comes out, numbered from #1 on Oct 27, 2026, the same for everyone who opens it that day. Your result for the day stays in this browser; reload and you carry on where you were.
  • Every chart is a real coin's daily closes, from Oct 26, 2025 to Oct 19, 2026: 200 rounds from 200 coins. The coin and the date stay hidden until you call it.
  • "Higher" means the close 7 days later is above the last close you see.
  • The model is our own 7-day prediction for that coin on that day, replayed with only the data that existed then (a backtest). Every round is a week where it made a call: its chance of higher sat at least 5 points away from 50% (the same rule as our hit rate). Weeks where it saw a coin flip are left out (22,369 of them): there is nothing to beat. Rounds are never picked by how they ended. On these 200 rounds it got 128 right (64%).
  • What the chart alone gets, on these same 200 rounds: betting it keeps going the way it went over the 60 days you see was right 60% of the time, betting on its last week's way 49%, and always saying higher 36%.
  • Your score, streak and best streak stay in this browser. Each round's result - right or wrong, yours and the model's, nothing else - is counted anonymously (privacy), and every player's rounds together make the "Players" number beside the model's record: our estimate of what a player here gets, from every round played so far, steadied by how reading each chart's own trend does on the same charts until the rounds are many. A coin flip would average 5 in 10, but people do not call charts like a coin: that number is what players here really get.

The 200 rounds in numbers

  • 71 of the 200 weeks ended higher and 129 ended lower; the typical week moved 6.7% either way, and 72 moved 10% or more.
  • Its strong leans were right 35 of 42 times (83%), its plain leans 93 of 158 (59%).
  • A round is only used when the closes on file and the stored result agree on the direction, so the week you see is the week that was scored.
